How do I import a list of destinations?
In the Destinations menu, click on Import. Upload the csv file of your choice by clicking the "Select file" button. The file must be in csv format (a spreadsheet format for transferring data). A standard spreadsheet template and an Excel template can be downloaded using the buttons below the import form.
Once your file is in the correct format, upload it by clicking "Send".
If you click "Replace", you will overwrite the existing data. Otherwise, your file will be added to your current list.

How do I import a list of destinations when I already have planned routes?
You can import a list of destinations via a csv file even if you already have planned and optimised routes. The process is the same as a standard import. In the Destinations menu, click on Import. Upload the csv file of your choice. You can overwrite the existing data by clicking "Replace" or add to it by clicking "Send".
How do I add one or more unplanned destinations to a route?
Unplanned destinations in Mapo appear in the right-hand panel in the "Unplanned visits" module and are shown in grey on the map. They can be added in four different ways:
by simply dragging and dropping on the screen.
using the vehicle icon, which lets you assign the unplanned stop directly to a route.
The lightbulb icon will automatically choose the most suitable route and best position for this stop.
How do I edit the address of a destination?
There are two ways to edit a destination's address:
directly in the spreadsheet of the destination list,
from the route plan, using the icon in the popup window when you click on the stop point on the plan and in the right-hand panel, to the right of each destination.
An address doesn't match the delivery location. What should I do?
Sometimes the written address of a destination doesn't match the location of the point on the map. You can manually move the point representing your destination in two ways:
– from the "Destination List" page. Simply move the point on the map. This will also give you the highest level of geocoding: to the point.
– or from the schedule page by selecting your destination and clicking the pencil icon (edit destination details).
On the "Edit destination" page you can move the point on the map so the address and the geocoded point match on the map.
*Note: Manually changing the location of the geocoded point will not change the written address of your destination, but will trigger a new geocoding calculation for this point to improve its location accuracy.
How do I manually edit the lat/long coordinates of a destination or depot?
The latitude and longitude coordinates can be manually edited in several places in Mapo:
In the vehicle settings: In the dropdown menu select "Departure / Arrival" (Depots). You can then drag and drop to change the geocoded point's coordinates or enter values directly in the "Latitude" and "Longitude" fields, or use the arrows to scroll through values.
In the destination settings when creating a new destination: In the dropdown menu select "New". You can then drag and drop to change the geocoded point's coordinates or enter values directly in the "Latitude" and "Longitude" fields, or use the arrows to scroll through values.
Directly on a route plan: from the plan page you can edit the destination of your choice. To do this, click the "pencil" icon directly on the map or on the route plan.
The destination edit page will appear. You can then drag and drop to change the geocoded point's coordinates. You can also edit them directly in the "Latitude" and "Longitude" fields, either by entering a value or using the arrows to scroll through values.
How do I call a destination directly from Mapo?
This call feature in Mapo is for organisations equipped with VoIP telephony technology.
Step 1 Configuration: To call destinations from Mapo, go to the “Settings” tab at the top right of the Mapo menu. Then go to “User settings”. Below the map options, you'll see an empty field labelled “VOIP communication solution URL. The URL must use the ‘{TEL}’ parameter where the phone number goes”. So, fill in this field with your VoIP solution's URL and the associated number.
Step 2 Call (method 1): After this, go to the “Destinations” tab. If you have imported destination databases with a phone number, you can now call a destination using the “Phone” icon in the “Tel.” column of your destination list table.
Step 2 Call (method 2): You can also call a destination from the route plan view.
To do this, select a plan. Select the destination you want to call by clicking the “marker” button to automatically locate your destination on the map
Then click on the stop point, a popup window will open. Here you'll find the destination's phone number linked to this stop. Click on the number to make the call.
Meaning of the geocoding column icons in the "Destination list"
In your "Destination list" table, in the "Geoloc." column, you'll see icons showing the level of geocoding accuracy, as well as a percentage bar.
From least to most accurate, the geocoding levels are:
Least accurate – Town (sign icon)
Street (road icon)
Address (house icon)
Most accurate – Point (map marker icon) with geographic coordinates.
Each of these icons is linked to a percentage bar to show the geocoding accuracy for each level, for example:
Least accurate would be town at 10%
Most accurate would be point at 100%
Refine geocoding: If many destinations in your list are imprecisely geocoded, you can refine the geocoding by simply dragging and dropping the marker on the map. This will give you the highest level of geocoding: the point.
