"Shipper" type groups
The "Shipper" is the party who initiates the shipping request.
- Shipping Manager (SM): Responsible for the transport strategy, they configure their entire distribution network (store, hubs, warehouses). They choose which carriers to activate and set eligibility and orchestration criteria. They oversee all flows and can intervene if needed.
- Shipping Supervisor (SP): The right-hand person to the Shipping Manager, they refine eligibility and orchestration criteria at a local level. They supervise all flows and can intervene if needed.
- Seller (SL): In-store seller, they create shipping requests on behalf of the end customer and ensure they are properly handled by the carriers.
- Customer Service (CS): Part of after-sales service, they support the end customer in case of delivery issues (parcel tracking, returns management, etc.). They may also create or modify certain orders.
- Shipping Analyst (SA): Working alongside operational teams, they analyse delivery performance in terms of cost, quality, and environment. They have view-only access to various features.
"Connected Carrier" type groups
The "Connected Carrier" is connected to the Woop Hub but uses their own TMS/DMS. This could be a "freight forwarder" responsible for arranging orders or a carrier directly responsible for carrying out deliveries.
- Carrier (CA): Main point of contact for the Woop teams, they have view-only access to the Hub. They can check the current settings and view ongoing orders. They also have access to several dashboards to help monitor their performance.
"Route Planner Carrier" type groups
The "Route Planner Carrier" uses Woop's Route Planner solution. They are responsible for planning and optimising routes. They can carry out the jobs themselves or subcontract them to external fleets.
- Transportation Manager (TM): Responsible for transport operations, they configure their entire delivery network, including the sectors they operate in for their various clients. They set optimisation rules and manage all fleets, whether external or subcontracted.
- Transportation Dispatcher (TD): Ensures deliveries run smoothly, handling the planning and optimisation of routes. They manage day-to-day issues and adjust fleet settings if needed.
- Transportation Coordinator (TC): The Dispatcher's right-hand person, they supervise all deliveries but have more limited rights. For example, they cannot make manual changes to routes.
- Transportation Analyst (TA): Working alongside operational teams, they analyse delivery performance in terms of cost, quality, and environment. They have view-only access to various features.
"Fleet" type groups
The "Fleet" is made up of vehicles and agents responsible for carrying out routes. This can be an internal or subcontracted fleet.
- Fleet Manager (FM): Responsible for one or more fleets, they manage the settings for vehicles and agents. They adjust routes if needed and supervise all deliveries.
