💡 This documentation will help you manage user permissions by combining à "Rules Group" with a "Context"
To add a permission, go to the "Users" menu:
1️⃣ Click on "Add a permission" in the "Action" menu on the user's profile:
2️⃣ Add one or more contexts
💡 Contexts define the entity to which the user belongs and determine the data they can access. There are:
- contexts specific to "Shippers":
- Retailer: the user will only see data for this retailer
- Store: the user will only see data for this store
- Exchange Place: the user will only see data for this exchange place
- contexts specific to "Carriers":
- Carrier: the user will only see data for this carrier
- Sector: the user will only see data for this sector
- Fleet: the user will only see data for this fleet
3️⃣ Select one or more user groups:
💡 Rules groups define the list of features accessible to a group of people belonging to the same business family. They are described here. These people will only see the groups associated with their family.
4️⃣ Once saved, you can then edit the permission by clicking the pen 🖋️ or add another permission by repeating the same steps.
