The Plan View
A plan allows you to organise your routes by assigning each vehicle a visit to a number of stops in an ordered and scheduled journey. The plans page allows you to:
view destinations, zones and routes,
manage and edit routes intuitively, mainly by moving destinations between the displayed routes,
optimise journeys using the optimisation algorithm,
easily export route plans for printing, spreadsheets, mobiles or connected GPS devices.
On the left, the interactive map lets you view zones, stop points and route itineraries.
You can use the buttons to the left of the map to: - zoom in or out - search for an address - compact or expand your points - generate an isochrone - generate an isodistance
The Plan Dashboard

On the right, the plan dashboard is divided into several sections:
Plan details (name, vehicle configuration, assigned zoning).
The overall summary of the plan's routes in terms of time, distance and carbon emissions.
The route selector lets you display only the data you want
Unplanned stops, i.e. those not assigned to a vehicle, if selected in the selector.
Each vehicle's routes with their stops, when selected in the selector.
How to use these features is explained in the following sections.
Route Selector
By default, all unplanned stops and all routes are displayed. To select the data you want, simply click to the left of the route(s) in the box to the left of the route name(s).
This lets you select some of the routes to display only those you want.
It consists of:
- a tick box (ticked by default, meaning all routes are selected)
- a clickable arrow to open the drop-down menu
- a global optimisation button for the selected routes
- a zoning application button; to activate it, one or more zones must be selected in the Zoning field
- an export button for the routes, opening the options for exporting the routes
Note:
Routes equipped with an NFC sensor (for example, Sopalog from SOPAC) display a temperature readings box.
Actions apply to the selected route(s).
Clicking the down arrow opens the menu.
The menu allows you to:
- select all routes/vehicles by clicking All
- deselect all routes/vehicles by clicking None / select no routes by clicking None
- invert the selection, i.e. select the unselected routes and deselect the selected ones
- return to the previous selection
- search for the route/vehicle to select by filtering the list of route names
- select the route(s)/vehicle(s) using the tick box to the left of the name
Only the selected routes are visible. Any actions taken will only apply to the selected routes.
At the top right of the plan dashboard, the cross-arrow button opens the expanded view.
Route Header
The header of each route displays information and action buttons
Here are the available actions for each route:
- Text field to enter the route reference

Button to set the route date /
This icon shows the date is set. Clicking it lets you change the date. The route date must be after the plan date.

Vehicle Display
Thanks to their GPS or geolocation, vehicles can be shown on the map. This feature can be activated on request to support.
When you hover over a vehicle, a popover appears showing vehicle information: name, speed, temperature readings (if set up), ETA (if set up), etc.
Note:
With the Mapo Driver mobile app, vehicle tracking is visible on the route plan currently being executed.
Stop Point Pop-up Window
When you hover over or click on a stop point in the plan, a pop-up window appears.
Several actions are available:
Assign this point to another vehicle
Untick/tick the stop point to plan or unplan it.
Access the destination details for the stop point .
Generate an isochrone or isodistance zone from the point . The drop-down menu lets you draw an isodistance zone (a zone around the point with a constant distance) or an isochrone zone (a zone around the point with a constant time period).
A dividing line separates the next section. The order in the route, destination name, and full address are shown in this section.
A final section, separated by a line, shows the delivery information: quantity, scheduled time, ETA, visit duration, etc.
