With the agent scheduling, you can plan the availability of your resources and anticipate changes. Route optimization is based on the schedule to distribute deliveries across different routes.
How to Use the Agent Scheduling?
Standard schedule and Exceptions
- Standard Schedule: Represents the standard week for an agent. It repeats across all weeks.
- Exceptions: Allows for occasional changes without affecting the standard schedule. Is your agent occasionally absent or working different hours? The exception allows you to account for these changes. Days with exceptions are marked with a green color code.

Schedule Parameters
- Working Hours: Defines the maximum working hours for the agent. The agent's route cannot start before or finish after these hours
- Working Time: Defines the maximum working time for the day. The working time can be less than or equal to the working hours range. For example, if your working hours are from 08:00 to 12:00, the working time cannot exceed 4 hours. Working time includes driving time, loading and unloading times at the depot, break times, and delivery times.
- Driving Time: Defines the maximum time the agent can spend driving. It cannot exceed the working time. Driving time only includes the time spent driving.
- Break: Fixed rest time for the driver.
- Start/End: The break will start between these two times.
- Duration: The break will last for the specified duration.
- Location "None" or "Depot": If "None" is selected, the break will occur along the route. If "Depot" is selected, the route will include a return to the depot for the break.
