Edit a destination
You can edit a destination in three different ways:
- From one of the Plans, by clicking the pencil icon
in the popup window of a stop point on the map. Select a stop point. When you click on this point, a popup window opens. The pencil icon
- is located next to the name of the stop point.
- From one of the Plans, by clicking the pencil icon
- next to the destination name in the right-hand panel. Click the pencil icon
- next to the destination you want to edit.
- From the Destinations list, by clicking the pencil icon
for the desired destination.
The destination sheet is made up of several sections. The first is the fixed part of the location (name, reference, address, etc.), the second section is the variable part, which is the action carried out there (Delivery, duration, quantity, time slots, etc.)
“Destination” section
The destination edit page opens.
-
Name (required):
name of the destination. -
Street, Additional info, Postcode, City, Country (Required or Lat/long):

Note
When creating a destination on Mapo, the app suggests the closest addresses to those entered by the user.
- Geocoding quality, Latitude, Longitude (required or address):
If the geocoding is incorrect, the point can be moved directly on the map to the desired location. -
Phone number (optional):
Phone number for direct contact with the destination. -

Fill vehicle (optional): indicate if this destination is a loading point, i.e. if the load should be completely loaded into the vehicle at this point. - Indication of the quantified deliverable unit
- The “Add barcodes for this quantity” link
expands when clicked. It allows you to record one or more barcodes for a quantified deliverable unit.
Note:
Barcodes are scanned and saved in the Mapo Driver mobile app. -
Visit duration (optional):

Note:
The visit duration is set in the global settings. If the Visit duration field is empty, the visit duration used will be the one from the global settings.

set the start and end time windows for the visit (these are used in optimisation calculations). Two time slots per visit can be set. - Priority (optional):
assign a priority level to a visit from -4 (least important visit) to 4 (most important visit). This allows you to exclude the least urgent visits from your routes and only include secondary visits in an optimisation if time allows. -
Labels (optional):
enter one or more previously created labels (see the Create a label section). A label can be used to link to a vehicle skill (see vehicle configuration). - Priority (optional):
assign a priority level to a visit from -4 (least important visit), 0 or 4 (most important visit). This allows you to exclude the least urgent visits from your routes and only include secondary visits in an optimisation if time allows.
